Permian Regional Sand
Meeting the Permian’s Growing Sand Demand
The Permian Basin consumes more proppant than any other shale play in North America, demanding ~70 million tons of sand per year. Due to advancements in industry technologies and efficiencies, proppant demand continues to increase every year. Iron Oak Energy supplies quality frac sand to the Permian Basin through four complementary, large-scale facilities in Winkler County, Texas and one facility in Crane County, Texas. The combined assets annually produce ~20 million tons of sand per year and are equipped with over 125,000 tons of storage.
The plants are centrally located to the Delaware and Midland Basins to offer multiple supply points for customers and ensures highly reliable supply for even the most demanding completions operations. As one of the largest suppliers in the Permian Basin, Iron Oak Energy is well-positioned to match the growth patterns of our customers and the overall proppant industry.
Our five regional plants produce a variety of products that meet or exceed API standards. For detailed product specifications, please contact us.
