Wedron Mine

Our flagship Northern White Sand facility annually produces over 6 million tons of frac sand. This highly efficient, all-weather production facility offers multiple product sizes and is equipped with one of the largest rail yards in the industry. This plant can store up to 1,000 railcars and launch up to eight unit trains per week. With advantaged access to the BNSF and CSX railroads, products can be shipped to key shale plays including the Bakken, Marcellus, DJ Basin, Permian Basin, and Eagle Ford Shale.

The Wedron plant has been an active mining site since the late 1800s. The washing and drying processes have been upgraded several times to improve the efficiency and processing capacity to meet the needs to the evolving proppant market.
