Tunnel City Mine

Commissioned in 2013, the Tunnel City facility is a state-of-the-art, winterized processing facility located in Tomah, WI. The sand is processed at a technologically advanced facility via two steps of crushing and is then wet-sized, dried, and screened to produce API grade silica proppants. Capable of storing over 800 rail cars, this plant is well positioned on the CP Railroad to serve the Bakken, Appalachia, and Western Canadian shale plays.

To limit community expose, this mine is dug below grade and stockpiles are dried indoors to minimize dust and ensure reliable, all-weather operations. This plant also recycles 97% of its water.
