Oakwood Mine

Located in Oakwood, Oklahoma, Oakwood became part of the Iron Oak Energy portfolio in 2026. Situated less than 50 miles from active oil and gas development, the facility serves the SCOOP, STACK, and other Mid-Continent formations with a reliable source of locally produced frac sand. Its strategic location helps reduce transportation costs while supporting efficient delivery throughout the region.

The approximately 2,000-acre facility features integrated wet and dry processing plants along with silo storage for multiple sand grades. As part of Iron Oak Energy’s growing operating footprint, the mine enhances the company’s ability to provide dependable supply, operational flexibility, and high-quality proppant products to customers across Oklahoma and the broader Mid-Con market.
