Dimmit Mine

Iron Oak Energy’s Dimmit facility provides quality sand for customers with increasing activity close to the Texas-New Mexico border. Through strategically located assets with advanced equipment and superior workforce, Iron Oak Energy is a leading supplier of API-quality proppant for the Eagle Ford Shale.

Located in Dimmit County, this mine annually produces 1.8 million tons of 100 Mesh. The facility is equipped with 9,000 tons of storage and three dedicated load-out lanes. Reliable plant operations are coupled with high-speed truck load out capabilities, with gate-to-gate load times averaging 10 minutes per truck.

The facility’s name derives from its location in Dimmit County, Texas, which is named for Philip Dimmit, a major figure in the Texas Revolution.
