Nick Bigney

Mr. Bigney brings over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, encompassing upstream oil and gas, energy services, technology, and renewable power generation. Most recently, he served as Chief Legal Officer for Covia Energy, following his tenure as General Counsel of Nauticus Robotics, Inc., where he managed legal, HR, and facilities functions. Prior to that, he was the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Flotek Industries, Inc. and General Counsel of Advario North America LLC. Before his time at Advario, Mr. Bigney spent several years in legal and compliance roles of increasing seniority at Nabors Industries Ltd. Mr. Bigney began his career at Milbank LLP and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he focused on project finance and infrastructure development in the energy sector. He earned his BA in Japanese from Brigham Young University and his Juris Doctorate from Columbia University.
