Michael Segura

Mr. Segura brings extensive business leadership and expertise in the upstream energy industry to his role. He most recently served as President and CEO of Covia Energy, after previously holding the position of President – Energy at Covia. Prior to that, he had a distinguished career at Halliburton, where he was a member of the executive committee and served as Senior Vice President of the Global Completion and Production Division. His earlier roles included Vice President of the Global Production Enhancement product/service line and Vice President of Southeast Asia, along with various leadership positions in operations, strategy, and technology across all major North American shale plays. Mr. Segura holds a BA in Economics and a BA in Chemistry from Wabash College, a PhD in Chemistry from Rice University, and an MBA from the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University.
